The Magic Brush in Hindi
My grandpa loves me a lot. I can’t sleep until
I’ve heard a story from him. The story I love the most, I’m writing
here. This story is about a magic brush, and I like painting as
well:
In a village there lived a boy called Birju. His parents
were very poor. Birju loved painting but because of the low income,
his parents couldn’t offer all the things he wanted. He used to
go to school and in his spare time he has to take the cows for grazing.
When ever he went to graze the cows he used to look at the beautiful
landscape and thought if he had a brush, he would have painted the
beautiful scenery. He prayed to god to make his wish come true.
One day when he was coming home from grazing the cow he noticed
that something was on the ground it was a brush and some paint.
When he picked them up. He found a letter under it. In the letter
it said that this brush has magical powers and if you draw any thing
with it, on completion it will turn real.
After coming back to his home, he painted a pigeon. He was surprised
when he found that it flew away. So he started to help everyone
in his village with his magic brush. This information reached
to the king.
Hearing about the magic brush the king invited Birju. When the
king noticed that the brush has magical powers he felt greedy
and demanded to give the brush." "No I’m sorry, I can’t",
replied Birju. The king got angry, so he directed the soldiers
to lock Birju in the prison and the king snatched the brush from
him. As the king got the brush, he felt greedy and he painted
a picture of a golden mountain. But instead of the golden mountain
it turned into a mountain of snakes. All the snakes were only
after the king. He was so frightened that he threw the brush.
Birju ran and picked it up before the soldiers could catch him.
Then they put him in a prison. He was not given even any water
to drink or food to eat.
One day hiding himself from the guards, he painted
some tools to cut the prison rods and a horse. Then he broke the
prison and sat on his horse and ran away. He was running ahead of
the soldiers and they were behind. Then Birju drew a picture of
a river behind him. All the soldiers couldn’t follow him because
he did not draw a bridge on the river. Then he came back to his
village and lived happily ever after with his magic brush and helping
his fellow villagers.
