The Stream

As Jacob was walking along he began to hear a gushing. It got louder and louder. There was a stream. Jacob sat down and wondered if to go back or not.

He decided that he had come this far so he wasn’t going to give up now. He got up and got a stick but his hands were trembling but he knew he had to get that diamond.

So he plunged his stick into the ground and leapt across. But he missed and slipped. He fell down and down. But he grabbed the side and pulled himself up and sat down for a rest before he went on.
