Stranded
By Louise, 10

It was a scorching hot day, and I had been taking a sailing course. We had been trying not to go past the buoy, but I couldn’t see were I was going, because the sun was in my eyes it was about blinding me. After few minutes, I was past the buoy when I heard the klaxon, but I couldn’t get back so I just kept going until I fell asleep.

After a few hours, I woke up and found myself in the middle of the sea; I started to paddle until I felt weak, hungry and couldn’t move so I let my little boat float again. Suddenly I saw a mysterious island. I tried to paddle as fast as I could. CRASH!! I bashed into the bank of the island. I saw huge palm trees and tiny monkeys climbing up them.
