I looked back as I heard the thuds of semi-automatic weapons. My pistol squeezed off two bursts and I saw two bikes collide and a barrier unsaddle the last rider. Suddenly I looked round to see a building. I was going to crash. Just when I thought my life had ended, I found myself on a beach.

It was incredible. I must have warped through the building. It was scorchingly hot with no sign of a motorbike anywhere. The sand was as golden as a crispy chip and the two pistols were still in my pockets. I saw a jungle, misty in the heat and set off towards it wondering what this island had in store for me.
